Using kettlebells in your fitness routine can challenge your body and build strength, stamina, endurance and flexibility unlike other pieces of equipment. As a certified trainer I will incorporate functional movements that you will perform with a kettlebell to resemble movements that you perform every day.
Bosu (Both Sides Used) Balance Trainer is a platform with a soft dome on one side and hard surface on the other. This modality is a unique balance, core stability, proprioceptive and "real life " training device that I will integrate with my training programs and equipment. Utilizing this modality will allow me to make exercise both appealing and effective for average people, fitness enthusiasts and athletes.
Core conditioning utilizes core exercises to train the muscles in your pelvis, lower back, hips and abdomen to work in harmony, improve posture and prevent injury. My extensive knowledge from this course will ensure you achieve your fitness goals in a safe and efficient manner.
The course demonstrated how sitting on an exercise ball can improve stability and balance, as you must constantly engage the core abdominal muscles to stay upright. A stronger core helps protect the lower back and promote better posture. By using the stability ball I can make any exercise more challenging

Upon completing this course, I can work both pre-op and post-op with a client. I will assist the client to regain lower body strength as well as total body strength, by designing an exercise program with activities appropriate for hip or knee replacement.
Principles covered to create an exercise routine for clients returning to exercise following injury or surgery to the shoulder. I will develop a program to improve strength of the shoulder, increase flexibility and maximize shoulder range of motion.
